2025-26 financial year
Welcome to your 2025–26 Annual Statement. As well as providing a snapshot of your super over the past financial year, it's an opportunity to reflect on your plans and whether you're on track to achieve them. Whatever stage you're at, we're here to help you understand your options and make the most of your Super SA membership. As a local fund, with a team based right here in South Australia, we are here to support our members who play a vital role in delivering essential public services across our state.

This past financial year has seen no shortage of headlines, from global trade tensions and geopolitical uncertainty to ongoing market volatility. Through it all, one thing has remained clear: maintaining focus on long-term goals is as important as ever.
While short-term market movements can be unsettling, your super is invested with a long-term focus. Importantly, our diversified investment approach continues to do its job by helping smooth the impact of market ups and downs. Despite the uncertainty, members invested in the Triple S Balanced option achieved a positive return of 10.7%* for the financial year. For detailed performance data across all our options and schemes, visit our investment options and performance page.
More South Australian public servants are choosing Super SA to help manage their retirement savings. Today, we look after more than $44.7 billion on behalf of 225,545 members, including those already enjoying retirement. We are proud of the trust you continue to place in us.

Supporting members
Helping members prepare for and navigate retirement remains an important part of our focus. This year, we launched our The Next Chapter initiative to support members as they prepare for and transition into retirement. Designed to provide practical information, tools and support, The Next Chapter helps members understand their options, make informed decisions and take confident steps towards the retirement they have been working towards.
We also expanded member choice by introducing two new low-cost indexed investment options and greater flexibility within our Income Stream scheme. At the same time, we launched new online forms and continued to invest in a new website and member app, making it easier to manage your super and access information when you need it.
During the year, we also welcomed Emeritus Professor David Lloyd as Chair of the Super SA Board, along with new Board member Ms Alicia Genet. Together they bring valuable experience and expertise to support the strong governance of Super SA.
Thank you for being a member of Super SA. We’re committed to helping you build financial security in retirement through practical guidance, trusted support and meaningful connections with our members. And because we're based here in South Australia, help is not too far away when you need it.
I encourage you to explore our support services to help you make informed decisions about your super. You can attend one of our many member education seminars (both in person and online), book an appointment with our Member Services Solutions team or use one of our online calculators. You can also browse our range of articles.
